Murray Explorer GT60703X92A Go-Kart Seat

I have a Murray Explorer GT60703X92A Go-Kart and the seat on it is falling apart. The covering is coming off and the board underneath has rotted away. I'd like to know of a way to fix this. I've looked for a replacement for it but I can't find any without getting a whole new go-kart. Does anybody know how I can fix it?

3/8 plywood, foam from wallyworld, vinyl from wallyworld, scissors and 1/4 in staples ( with a gun)

Rough cut vinyl to over lap back of plywood 2 inches with padding also.

Put vinyl down on floor, good side down, put foam on top of it, 3/4 inch wider than plywood.

Put plywood on top, put some pressure on wood, pull vinyl over wood and staple
