I got this brought by the house yesterday. Having some carb issues won't idle etc. Has new carb. Long story short I brought this home new for my dad back in about 2001 from sears in my old nissan. I was about 17. He decided he wanted another recently and retired this one. Runs great just needs some minor things. Craftsman lt2000 490cc single cylinder peerless 6 speed.

That is a nice looking tractor with all the bells. Your dad should be ashamed of him self giving up on a tractor you brought home for him. I’m just kidding by the way. :bannana:

Well. He bought it new, I just delivered it to him. Was always kept in a garage. For its age it is in great shape. I remember being 17 mowing parents yard dumping the clutch and popping wheelies. ha. Other than the shenanigans it's had an easy life.

Planning on led headlight bulbs as these suck. Fresh oil change and get rid of no name filter. Dump the old gas out of and fill with non ethanol with a new filter. Engine got the dawn power wash treatment today. I love this stuff for degreasing engines.

Ignore the zip tie and picture hanging hook on governor. ha. replacement is being ordered
