Mikuni carb ID help

Need help getting some more info/parts on this Mikuni Carb - the carb is marked 318 M1 then below that it looks like ISO with a cross symbol. Engine side measures 26mm and change. I have a feeling it was on a Yamaha maybe early 70s vintage. Seems to be missing 2 adjustment screws ...I want to rebuild it for use on a minibike build.

Looks to be a VM series, has an "air screw" so it probably came off a 2 stroke. Being 26mm I'd guess a 150-200cc (cylinder). The symbol at the top in the last picture is throwing me for a loop though... I bet it's a clue! Lol might be a little big for a mini bike motor though..... I have a feeling it's from a snowmobile because of the location of the bowl drain screw/plug.
