Hello.. I'm Mike from Limpopo South Africa. šŸ¤Ÿ ...

I'm into DIY builds, I haven't done anything build yet but I will because I've already bought 13hp Turner Morris engine, but it is a tapper shaft šŸ˜©..

What worries me about it is that the throttle is made out plastic, I'm not sure if it'll last or not..

Will Mountain bike brakes work on my go kart? I want to place an order on Banggood

Howdy & :welcome2:

1.) an engine with a tapered shaft is difficult to use on a go kart because most clutches & TAV units require a straight shaft with a key

2.) Bicycle brakes are not usually heavy duty enough, to use on most go karts

IMO you need an engine with a straight shaft
...& also, real go kart brakes :cheers2:

Don't be discouraged, JBH ;)
...go karts are super fun
