So Kobalt and Greenworks make 80V max/72V nominal batteries, and Snapper makes one 82V max (I'm not sure nominal for it). There's off-brand 6Ah, 80V for about $150 from eBay. I'm not sure of their current output, but I have to imagine it's decent. If it's 20A, then two in parallel can get almost 3kW at 72V. It could be a great system sober they would be easy to just pop in and out, so if your kart dies you just put your spares on and take the dead ones off. Anyone feel like spending the money to buy one and testing it out to let the rest of us know?

Very true, come to think of it sadly most of everything is manufactured in china (cheaply) nowadays. Even if the packaging states "made in america" it was just bolted together here and parts crafted elsewhere.
Hope everyones enjoying the HOT muggy summer this yr.
