So in my quest to find something other than my really wide, home made seat for the kart. I came across boat seats! Has anyone ever used one in their project? They're small and have mounting holes on the bottom which would make them easily adaptable to a kart. I sat on one in a K-mart store on Friday. Gf and I were just wandering around trying to wear off the buzz after leaving a restaurant :rolleyes3: and I came across several different ones. They were small, comfortable, and really grippy, but they didn't have any black ones or I would have bought one!

There's bucket boat seats too, I was looking them up online but some retail for $200+ :ack2: :ack2: :ack2:

The ones I saw at K-mart were only about $40, but the colors were lame.

Oscar.... I'm not THAT ghetto... :roflol:

lol We had to pay 120 bucks for our go kart seat. It has ajutstable tracks on it. It is VERY comfy but still 120 bucks is quiet a bit to spend on a seat.

My friend had used some stuff like that in his car to color the interior, but I didn't like the way it could rub off.

Maybe he didn't do it right, I guess it could be worth a try, seats weren't very expensive anyway.
