I bought my son a used gokart from a friend. It is single drive. The front wheels have a 5/8 diameter with a 145/70-6 tire. The rear wheels don't fit the axle. The wheels have a 5/8 diameter but the axle is 3\4. I have one hub/sprocket assembly for the drive wheel that fits the axel. The tires for the rear are a 13/500-6NHS. My question is do I need to buy 1 rear wheel that matches the 4 hole hub bolt pattern and then 1 wheel with the axle 3/4 bore; or can a hub be purchased that fits the axle for the non drive wheel? Also the axle is keyed.

You could get away with picking up one keyed 6" wheel for the non-drive side, this way you won't need a hub. Install the 6" tire on this wheel and mount the assembly on the axle with a good locknut.
