No telling since it’s heavily altered. Looks like am SC7 to me. Never heard of a “mad dog” by Ken-Bar.
Why do you have to know?

You buried this post in the off topic forum (in the wrong place).

Ive had 3 strokes it's a wonder I even figured out how to sign in.
I found out it's a Ken-Bar Mud Hog.
And I was hoping to find original parts like the brake disc and caliper.
It will take a minute to get that all apart and everything rebuilt.
Now that I figured out what it is I can look for the right replacement parts.
As for the question being in the wrong place well I don't even have Facebook and haven't figured my way around yet but thanks for the reply.
Maybe after I get it rebuilt I'll come back and upload pictures. I saved it from the scrapyard literally.
I'd rather rebuild an old kart than just buy new whatever.
I've been restoring cars bikes and anything else worth restoring most of my life.
The work is the fun. The satisfaction of the transformation.
I already bought tires and wheels, new hubs and a few other things are on the way.
Can't wait see what it looks like restored.
It had a sticker but parts of it were covered in 3 or 4 coats of paint.
I would love to find a picture of a new one to see what the original color was and if it came with roll bars and seat belts.
Having been born in the 60s I have owned many old karts and when I found this ready to be melted down I had to fix it now that I have nothing but time on my hands.
Sorry for the long winded comment.

No worries mate. It's all good. I'm the same way, saving things from the scrap heap, "older is better than newer", same kind of sentiments.

Ken Bar is sort of a mystery now that they are gone. They're not a classic manufacturer (not yet) like Rupp where there's extensive documentation of everything they made; quite the opposite. I can't even find manuals online much less a complete catalog or a catalog page with Ken-Bars on them like a Sears Wishbook, etc. If you look up a Ken Bar kart per model number you get guesswork as a result. Everything is a Ken-Bar Streaker kart.

Hope to see your build thread or at least photos of what you have now, especially if it has intact model name/number in the form of a decal.

Not sure what it is, but looks like it has the potential to make a fun kart. Live axle, center motor mount and with some good ol' tlc, should make a blast of a kart. I see big HP motor ripping that thing around.

Please pardon me for saying this, Sir, but it will never be "done". Once a project, always a project.
Have fun and be safe!
