Hi everyone I’m KEV ! I just got notice of my MM212 is on its WAY! Im going slow with MOTOR CHOICE and wanna KNOW what BIG BLOCKS FIT ( easy ) if at ALL. I’m looking at what FITS THE FRAME . Im not a RACER but I weight 265lbs . I Just-want take- off TORQUE / and GOOD SPEED GAIN but not necessarily RACE WINNING top speed.
What’s the HIGHEST HP Predator that’ll FIT?
I understand the 212 non Hemi takes a lot of enhancements!
How about the 224 MAX?
Thanks ALL!
Big cc's equals big torque.
Ducar makes good products.
Much better, heads, carbs, air boxes, mufflers and clearances then the pred engines. There's no comparison.
The Ducar 224 comes with no governor, but needs a quality flywheel. A $40 cast aluminum flywheel set at 28* BTDC will get you there.
The Ducar 212 has governor set at 5300 rpm right outta the box, and has a quality flywheel.
It doesn't have the low rpm pull as the 224, but its ready to bolt on and go.
At 265#, you gonna need more gear a higher then stock 2200 rpm stall from the driver pulley.
I'm 200# and run 3000 rpm stall in my 224. It yanks me around like a rag doll.
