Don't let the heat get you down! Keep on building, even if it's at midnight! :roflol:

Been there, done that!

Weathers been nice in Oklahoma. We are on a record low for a few days already. No humidity for most of the time in the last few weeks. I been out in the shop but haven’t bought any parts.

We've had a 90*+ stretch for like 20+ days, in the last month or so :smiley_omg:
...but, it just kooled down, in the last week or so :wai:

Update:
My Excalibur kart is mostly done
...even got a meter to keep track of things :sifone:

So far, I've tested 'er with (1) 48V 1,000W motor, powered by (4) 12V 12AH SLA's
...& then, with (2) 48V 1,000W motors, powered by (4) 12V 15AH SLA's

Nex, Ima gonna try a 48V 35AH Lithium battery pack

Then, I'ma thinkin' about tryin' a 60V 2,000W motor
...& then, maybe (2) of 'em :2guns:

It's been in the low 90s here for the past 3 weeks, but extremely humid. A wet, muggy heat that feels more like 103 ever how they calculate the heat and air quality index.

Anyways, that wouldn't stop me, but I have been tending to friends and family and a major auto repair on my Wife's car, so that's where I've been.

I jstill need to tack on an anti-sway bar and do a descent test run on my Dirt Bobber reverse trike.

Well updates for the builders ?

mine is I’m literally waiting on parts. Only fab work I got is build a custom gas tank and make a jackshaft for the offset chains and rebuild the carburetor and see if it’ll start finally ! I honestly don’t think I’ll make it. But I’ve been farther off before and still got it done in the last week or so. The wheelie bar doesn’t have to be welded up and done to finish it. Just to make some passes finally safely. Cause this one is gonna stand straight up without for sure.

Not much happening on my leaning trike build (not even riding it) for the past couple of weeks.

I have been waiting on a parts shipment to complete my new a-arm design, a drivability and safety upgrade since the ball joints were severely worn on the donor front end.

The sparks will be flying again - soon as the parts come in.
