Have any of you ever walked in to a room and everyone is staring at you?
I feel I like everyone is staring and wishing they had an awesome diykarts tee shirt.

Am I the only one again that has this page messed up by the you tube embedds?

Or don't you recognize that?
starts with post #47.. the video in the quote drops a table-tag (doesn't close the y-t table)
So everything else is inside the blue outline box of jim's post...
including the quick reply and footer.

looks good in FF, Chrome to me.

yes, a modern browser can fix unclosed tags on it's own.. most do afaik ...

(mine could, but I disabled that on purpose.. it's hard to debug if your browser fixes you problems right ;))

So it looks like this:
post.jpg
see the step on the right side.. and how the blue outline moves past the next post..

when it should look like this:
post_should.jpg

and that keeps on 'till the end of the page:
footer.jpg

when it should look like that:
footer_should.jpg

What do you use to catch that, error anyway? firebug? having trouble figuring it out.

In fact I'm making my life much easier ;)
Since I'm responsible to detect such flaws (and fix them) in my job...
so enabling such function would make it harder to trace such errors down ;)

Anywhoo the page is flawed...
either by passivevid, or viglink, or a mix of the two *shrugs*

PS firebug on FF, or -because I like it much better...- dragonfly on opera (non chromium opera, that is) the chromium opera is great, but the chrome debugging tool it uses sucks IMHO...

[EDIT]
upon closer inspection.. it's the links you posted.. they got messed up by the spaces and vb trying to still render them clickable... so they interfere with passivevid,
which makes the WHOLE div a link, and not just the header of the video itself..
(that's why the title is missing too)
you simply forgot to remove the "Automatically parse links in text" mark ;)
without url-tags that still worked somehow.. jim's post had url tags (added by vb) and it broke on adding the video.
