Greetings from Horse Lake BC , Canada
I don't know much about engines and drivetrain components for gokarts but I am a retired custom steel fabricator and have been wanting to take on a project for quite some time. So I'm here to learn and get some ideas for what I have in mind for my project. *hint..... it needs to pull me.... 160lbs and another 100ish pounds including it's own weight...... I may want to put custom tracks on it because it will be for winter use on the ice/snow. I am disabled and bored and have the shop and most of the tools so we'll see if I can figure out what I want to build. I've seen "track sleds" like the Snowdog and other DIY projects but I have other ideas that i think the gokart realm has more to offer as far as power and drivetrain is concerned.
