I have a yerfdog gy6 buggy and am looking to get an engine and torque converter set up to put on it. I was just hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I’m new to this. I’ve been looking at the predator engines but not sure how to match a torque converter to the engine or where to get it.

A predator where a gy6 went will require cutting old engine mounts out and welding in a suitable one for the different style engine.
Easiest way is to replace with a like engine.

Yeah I’m sure that would be the easiest but the wiring is all shot on the gy6 and Im really liking the predator. Im ok with it being more work. Just need to know how to pick the right clutch to the engine.

No clutch. Get a 30 series comet torque converter.

Or a 40 series if you go with a big engine!

Then you will definitely want a 40 series. Start doing your research now as they need to be set up differently than a 30 series. GoKart Supply has a great tutorial on this.
