New to this website, and my first thread. I did try to search before asking this question but had difficulty locating anything.
I purchased a streaker fun wheels gokart for my daughter. The guy told me that the old carb just stopped working so he took the same carb off of a lawn edger that he had and installed it on the gokart motor. Only difference was the throttle. Well none of that's hooked up a d looks like linkages and springs are missing. Also the original throttle control is behind and under the gas tank(appears as though some of the linkage behind the rank is missing), and that appears to be screwed up because the "tooth gears" dont really mesh with the other part.. what are my options for getting the throttle hooked up and linkages installed. Is there a kit I can buy? I'm not opposed to moving the throttle to the top, or even replacing the original one behind and under the tank. I just need some guidance. Part numbers or kit numbers, springs and linkages.
The motor number is 91212 0060-1
The throttle plate that's on it in the picture is not linked up it was part of the throttle from the lawn edger.
Thanks for any help.

Personally I hate those carbs and replace the entire setup with either a 2hp, or a setup off an older 3hp engine. Those are so much easier to rig up with little loss of performance.

It appears you are missing the governor spring and the link between the
pivot on the carb and the arm below the gas tank. But if the gears below are damaged, id just remove the
governor and hook up directly to the throttle flap. These engine are quite forgiving at valve float, just don't care.

Yeah the setup can be a bit tricky but if your a decent wrench their quite straight forward to work on.

Where would I go to get the linkage and springs To do this?

So the linkage from below is hooked up, it just dosent move much I think everything under it is messed up. So I need linkage from bottom to up top, then the governor spring attached, then run throttle cable up top(I see a spot that a cable could be clamped down up top) any idea where I could get the proper spring and a linkage for up top?
