I did some work on a guys mini bike and he was going to throw this frame in the trash.

He said it was for circle lap racing. Looks kinda funny the way the frame is.

Anyone seen one? Can you confirm its for circle lap racing?

Might look into building it out.

LOL, it kinda does. Who ever made it did it like this on purpose however. The tube was defiantly bent in a tube bender this way.

I'm with Eric..
it really does look like it's been in a bad crash

but that's an easy thing to check:
if the front beam is perfectly parallel to the rear axle..
then that's indeed a "straight" oval kart.

Bad thing: it's only good for right hand turns...
turning left with those -excuse me--- STUPID- circle racers is like typing on a smartphone... with your elbows!

So, if you want to compete in a vintage kart oval race.. then this is a kart worth your attention.
Else it's a chunk of steel you should pass on to the next guy.
(keep the brake and steering wheel .. ;)

I've seen oval karts bent this way. Like I said tho. Sometimes it's cheaper to just find a used complete kart rather than rebuild. Guess that's location dependent.

I'd probably keep the spindles too lol. Unless you like drifting to the right only.
