It is but it can blow just as easy. One tip, ask if you can take off the exhaust and look into the cylinder, check for lots of wear or any scoring. If its worn or scored bad enough to notice dont buy it.
Nope, the only way to check is to try it under a load, or take it apart and check the plates for extreme wear. same with the gearbox, its really a hit or miss deal.
big setback, no place around here to get metal!
the metal stockyard wont sell less than $150 worth of metal, no shops have it, no metal recyclers sell, this sucks!
You may just have to let your funds build up first. You also could get inventive such as I have herd of using bed rail frames. Also you could checkout flee markets or local swap meets.Maybe your local junk yard can hook you up with strap metal. Whatever you decide Im sure you will go over budget
ok now i am ordering metal online and itl be here sometime next week. i went to the junkyard today and found a 100cc yamaha only missing the carb and kick starter arm. when i go back saturday im gonna pick it and a carb and kick up. i am very excited :]
btw 100cc was the best i could find, the only other complete motor is a 4 cyl motorcycle engine
