*Mods can move this post where ever or do whatever to it.

When I first started going to this site I knew nothing about small engines, go-karts, minibikes ect. I had a hard time understanding the lingo, name brands ect. This is just something to help the new guys and girls learn a little faster. So please add to the list or edit ones already on it.

Clone/blue engine- Blue, foreign built engines, that are probably the most bang-for-your buck new engine for karters. Can be purchased for $100-$200. They are called clones because they look nearly identical to Honda engines except that they are blue

TAV - Torque-a-verter

HF - Harbor Freight (tool company)

Duraforce - most powerful 2-cycle lawnboy engine

Doodlebug - small dirt bike?

WOT - Wide open throttle

PITA - Pain in the A$$

FTW - For the (?)Women/Win(?)

I'll add more as I think of them
