Hey y'all, I'm very new to this field and starting to work on my first project ever. I am taking an old Razor e175 scooter frame and attaching it to a Gdrasuya 49cc engine off Amazon. The rear wheel has 48 teeth and the engine has an 11-tooth sprocket. The rear wheel on the scooter is also pretty small at 5.7 inches. Is my gear ratio alright? Will I burn up the clutch? I apologize if these questions seem stupid, this is very new to me.

I think the torque produced by such a small engine limits your gearing. You have to gear it so it can start moving. I suppose if you kick the dirt to get moving then use the throttle once going, you would be able to gear it for more top speed.

Not sure how safe this thing is.
It’s a kids toy made to do 10mph?

I think those 49cc engines can turn 6500-7000 rpm
