Ok General Lee, it should be fairly easy connecting your throttle cable back on, even if it broke off. If your cable still has the length, you can connect it to the throttle lever on the carb (it has a bunch of little tiny holes on it and is connected to the carb). If the cable is broken and too short, you may have to replace the cable unless you can adjust it at the pedal.

I bought my throttle cable from wal-mart in the bike section. They have a bicycle brake/gear cable kit that is actually pretty sweet for $5.00.

Now, if your cable is intact, and the piece that was holding the cable broke, you may have to use zip ties and jimmy rig that piece of crap.

Dont be a noob. Get some pics up.

I got mine from wal-mart also but I used a lawn mower throttle cable. The inner wire is a little tougher and has the ends bent in a way that will keep it attached to the motor correctly. You get the same one I have almost any where they have lawn mower supplies Wal-mart, Home Depot, Menards, Fleet Farm like these places

or go online and buy a fitted one that is a length of your choice

pictures use your cell phone and then email them to yourself and post away
