Ok General Lee, it should be fairly easy connecting your throttle cable back on, even if it broke off. If your cable still has the length, you can connect it to the throttle lever on the carb (it has a bunch of little tiny holes on it and is connected to the carb). If the cable is broken and too short, you may have to replace the cable unless you can adjust it at the pedal.
I bought my throttle cable from wal-mart in the bike section. They have a bicycle brake/gear cable kit that is actually pretty sweet for $5.00.
Now, if your cable is intact, and the piece that was holding the cable broke, you may have to use zip ties and jimmy rig that piece of crap.
