Well hey, I have this race against this rather stuck up :)D) kid I know (we're friends :p), but yeah, he's supposedly getting a "35MPH No I'm serious 35MPH" electric... pocket rocket?

Soo... he said if I wanted a race, rules were, I had to use that junked up electric pocket rocket frame I tried to convert (but I was still in my first stages of welding)... fail.

So back then, it broke in half alot, broke even more alot, and it was a POS.

So I have to take that, restore it, and battery rules were:

2x "Larger" batteries (I plan to screw him over - he thinks I mean the 12V 12aH batteries - I have 18V 7aH batteries that look exactly like it :bannana: )

1x "Smaller" battery - 7aH battery, course, I'm gonna use a old UltraTech one of mine... or Endurine... they both survived 30MPH crashes and lots of scratches on them.

and 1x "tiny" "Boost" battery. Using a 7.2v Ni-CD battery from an old airsoft gun, wired in paraell with another 7.2V Ni-CD airsoft battery, then again wired in parallel with another set of wireless phone 3.6V batteries wired in series and then in parallel.

So yeah... any other tips to completely smoke them?

He's a... tiny... kid. 70lbs tops. I'm 140. Give you an idea? :roflol:

Oh and motor rules are 250W only. Using a new Currie 250W motor (for my eKart, but switched to dual 900W)

D?! A's are plenty for me O.O

Hehe, I took the rocket apart, and kept the explosive parts xD

Mixed them with matches and the afterburner part, gonna put a bit of gasoline in... light it and throw :D

A's arent that powerfull at all. Makes my model rocket for 500 FT or so. Not much thrust to push a 140 lb rider and the choppor loaded with more batteries then Duracells warehouse.

Well...he is half your size and weight?
Then you must cheat and cheat like a true champion.
You need batteries in the seat, batteries in yout pocket and a 6 volt lantern battery under your hat.
He is a bit bigger than the kids I ususlly fight so he might be wiry.

as far as wiring up all those batteries make sure they will compliment each other. lipos (lithium polymer) need lipo stuff. see if you can get a big brushless motor. there's a r/c hobby shop or was at beltway 8 and 59 south, larry's out 45N @1960, m&m in the bellaire/west U area (on chimney rock).
