The Dune Buggy started running into some problems with one of the batteries cutting off, so I decided on the most obvious fix and pulled and replaced the motor, controller, and batteries again. I am running at mostly default settings with the controller and am limiting RPM to 1925 (~25mph). I tested it myself at over 30mph and it was still accelerating, but it is too squirrely at that speed and my son doesn't need to be going that fast anyway. He's used to 22mph.

I'd like to go larger on the axle sprocket, but there is plenty of torque (see the video) and I'd need to cut the frame or increase the ride height to fit one.

I previously completely swapped the rear end with a 3/4" custom axle. I also fabricated custom spindles and set up a normal tie rod and Pitman arm steering arrangement with Ackermann.

Major parts:
QS90 Motor
Kelly Cheetah KLS7230S
Eon Lithium 52v 20Ah battery
10T/24T Sprockets
