The driver bolt on my 30 series comes loose. Can you use lock tight on this bolt? I know it says on the washer to specifically use it dry. Any other suggestions of lock tight is not an option?

Is your bolt the correct thread?
Some kits might not come with the correct hardware. Is it the correct length (doesn’t bottom out)?

For example, the 212 Predators take 5/16 -24 TPI IIRC.

I’m not sure. Maybe somebody ugga dugga’d an 8mm x 1.0 bolt in there that got shipped with a kit from China?

Maybe try to tap for 3/8” if threads are jacked.

How are you tightening? If not using an impact, how are you keeping the crank from turning while tightening as much as you can with a foot long torque wrench?

Put a strap wrench around the bell of the driver to hold it while you torque down the crank bolt. Works real good. BTW, it certainly helps to use the correct bolt.

Torque to 25ft/lbs and some blue loctite 242. If that is still coming loose, then some red loctite 263.
