Here's mines! Just some old frame in the weeds. Pic of tires in shed. Plenty of engine room gonna do something different but not saying yet. The engine is burried in another barn you'll just have to wait. I gotta finish "The Bird" in the projects forum then jump on this. Just wanted to get a start. The other one is almost done. Thanks.

18hp Briggs vertical. I have a heavy ragb somewhere around here. Will be using a t.c., going to try getting away with a series 40 I don't drive like a maniac see if it holds up.

I thought of using a motorcycle engine, smallest I have on hand a cx500. Wrong frame, if I go to that trouble I want suspension. I've never used a vertical and always wanted to try so here we go.

That's a big engine!

You should hear it. It sounds so good idling you can just pull up a chair and listen to it forever. It's wicked. So definitely keeping open exhaust. I haven't yet test fit so unsure of exhaust configuration but right now I'm thinking about the pipes shooting straight up and be a couple feet tall or so with exhaust flaps on them.

Doesn't take much to make these engines horizontal shaft. Just a base plate and oil slingers...

I've read on that, think I can throw it together easier way it is. I also have 16hp and 18hp horizontals if I wanted to go that route. I just want to do a vertical build. Not too worried about any power loss etc I got some room to spare lol.
