Just bought a Dingo IV today and the brakes are hanging up too and the rotor or disc is very rusty and i need to clean it up with wire wheel first to see how bad it is. Might need to but all new break parts. It was sitting for a while so the TC is pretty rusty inside and toasted a belt today. ill need to clean that up also. Bad gas and sat to long so carb is acting up also. I am going to drain the gas because the owner topped it off and that was it. Ill drain and clean the carb the best i can see hoe its gonna run before rebuilding it. Not sure where to get parts yet but im sure wont be to hard. 9hp B/S so im sure it should be easy to find and do. The rust on the other hand and the toasted belt i will have to dig deeper on numbers and specifics. I dont know what side the belt was but its about 1/2 wide at the skinniest spot.

Any input would be great.
Thanks
Dave

I am very sorry for the spelling im very tired and being careless.

It sounds as if you have a bit of work ahead of you. Drain the engine of fuel, check fuel lines for cracks, clean the carb properly poking out all the holes, take the TC off and clean.

What TC is it. With a 9HP engine you might be maxing it out and frying belts

Yes I have a 40 series. I watched a few videos and took apart the Drive and just like Kartfabs video its a 40. I drained all the gas and all went good other than a bowl gasket. I cut one out of rubber and it leaked very little lol 1/8 wide by 3/16 thick rubber was very hard to cut a perfect circle that thin. I bought a kit it was the bowl and gasket and bolt gasket. $29.99. I thought she said it was a complete kit. nope just a complete bowl kit.
