differential bushing help

Looking for a bushing that came out of a differential on what I think is a comet differential.


It has what appears to be a fabric on the inside. On side the fabric is shot the other seem to be holding up but wearing away. The side with the bad "fabric" has the axel flopping around . The good side is tight.


What is this fabric? Is it replaceable can I get new bushings, if so who sells them?


The ID is just under 1" on the good one and just over 1" on the bad one.

OD is 1" 1/8

Length is 1"

Where have you tried looking? If it comes from Comet, there should be several places that sell it. Try Gokartgalaxy, BMI, surpluscentre etc

Thanks all great sites - not shown on line, I will try calling. Is there a list of recommended part sites? Expanding on yr etc?.

Any idea what that fabric is? Seems like a weak point.
