Here's my take on a bar stool racer, starting with a frame from Comet Kart Sales.
The frame... not very attractive welds... it looks like someone had other things to do but everything is solid. My major goal with this build is to be able to fit it under the tonneau cover on my truck, with minimal disassembly. My max height will be roughly 24".
I created a new steering bracket and steering neck to minimize disassembly. I created 90's for the seat mount and plan to only use the front two mounting points. I want this kart to be a low profile. I also had to cut down the tie rods to make them fit with this narrow frame. Luckily they are hollow and I just had to re-tap the threads.
