New parts. Still waiting on my engine riser. Hope they don't drag shipping it out.
Mikuni cable, gold oring chain, mikuni chikuni.
Ready for the weekend to install. Going to try and weld up an intake at work tomorrow.

Got a little done today got too busy couldn't fool with it much. I wasn't planning on using the plastic briggs manifold but being bolted directly to the block and heat issues I think it might not be a bad idea plus it kicks it out a little better and is the same size as the intake port and pipe... I can always get a longer pipe to eliminate the plastic manifold. Opinions anyone?

I normally use thinner wall tubing to make manifolds, like scraps of mower exhaust pipe.

Lots have bends that can be repurposed. Gives more clearance for bolt head/nut.

I would just make the whole manifold one steel piece, fitted close to the frame as possible/not have air cleaner bulging out.
Just my thoughts.

I will have to check if I can find some thinner tubing. The way I mocked it up was angled out slightly from muffler, I'll do some more digging in scrap hopper to see if I can find something a little better. I wish there was one made that wasn't 50 bucks or whatever.

I believe I like the solid tube look the best. Should weld nice and have room for bolts.

Well I am at a standstill waiting on an engine riser plate. ZERO update in 4 days, for the price of shipping its a little crazy. I should have used gopowersports or made my own again. Never again.

I will use some other spacer until it or if it arrives. More to follow hopefully this weekend.

Well it is mocked up. Should be running this weekend. The mount works with a flathead but barely. I had to cut the boot off to fit under the seat bracket. Clears by about an eighth an inch.
Billet goodies coming.

Got a little cleaning up to do but it works.. idles a little high, but i know I have a small hole in the weld, and have no jb weld here to fix it, and had to make an intake gasket so it might be leaking.. Enjoy.

Well I am up and running, have to tune the carb some it bogs at idle then picks up and seems to go. Haven't had a chance to pull the plug but seemed to smell very rich idling.

I also will add this for anyone searching Google, or this site. Do not buy from OMB warehouse. They won't even publish my review I left them. Use gopowersports and their spacer. I definitely will next time.
