It has only happened to me once. I was riding with 2 buddies, one in a kart, the other on a mini bike. We were just having our usual good time riding through the parking lots of a corporate business park, where we have an office/warehouse. It was the weekend so there was no one there. We had been riding all over the place and had made our way back to our home lot...All of a sudden a huge wagon came flying in lights flashing...Needless to say, we all took off in different directions...I under estimated the area I needed to turn around and nailed the curb, doing some damage to my kart and myself....I was still able to ride however. I got turned around and took off around the back of the building and managed to fly into the open door of our warehouse...Got off started pulling the door down, and here comes my buddy on his kart....He made it in, we slammed the door shut and turned off all the lights. The other guy on the mini bike was nowhere to be found. We thought for sure, with the size of the police vehicle, they were going to take our karts...Luckily they hadnt found us....We assumed that our buddy on the bike had to have gotten rolled, but we werent really about to go out to find out. We sat there for probably 45 minutes peaking through the office windows until we saw the cop was finally gone. About 5 minutes later we heard someone pounding on the warehouse door. We figured we were screwed. Thankfully it was just our buddy, who had ended up hiding in a field behind the warehouse. The cops didnt get any of us. Needless to say, we were done riding for the night. We loaded up my kart into my vehicle and I headed for home. Got out of the parking lot, and there was the cop sitting there, waiting for us to be back out on our karts. Thankfully he didnt put 2 and 2 together and stop me, so I got away scott free. About 2 weeks later my buddy did get a letter sent to his office with a formal complaint about the karts....That was late fall, and we havent ridden there since....
