Carters? Go Kart Build

Hey yall. First time posting. I got this go kart for about $120. It had a Honda gx 160 from an air compressor thrown on it that needs at the verry least a carb rebuild and throtle assembly. Steering was locked up, old tires, bad front and back bearings, bad brakes, no chain, no clutch or TC, and no steering wheel.

I have put on it so far-

Predator 212 minus govenor and low oil sensor
30 series TC 10T
2 15T sproket either side of jack shaft & chain #40
Rear shocks
Steering wheel
Tires ... in need of alignment
Bearings ... doing rear tomorrow

I have a chineese mikuni carb but I'm waiting on larger jets.. It bogged down ¾ - full throttle so I put stock back on. I may keep it and get go power sports stage 1 kit. Brake bands are on the way as well.

It runs good. I now know how these karts were originally put together with the TC and jackshaft so when I break it I will try to make it more like it should be.. I wish it was faster but I don't know if I should risk the quickness of 6:1 and its mostly for my kids.

ALSO I cannot find this go kart model. I am sure it is a Carters bro. But upon hours of looking I have not found 1 picture of a kart that looks like this one.

I've looked at all those and the trail runner is closest but not the same.

Carter has been out of business for some time. Finding anything Carter related will be a challenge.
