I have been working on this for about a month. It was one of those mini Harleys. image.jpg

Changed the rear end.

I was having lots of trouble keeping the chain on when I hit a bump even with a tensioner. I saw an earlier post of the same bike without the reared. So I removed it, cut and welded the axel hangers to the frame. This short end the chain nearly 14 inches. Now the chain stays on:wai:
I will be welding triangle plates to brace the axel hangers soon ( wanted to see if it worked first). Now it even looks more like a classic mini bike.

The rear tires 13 inches the sprocket clears on left turns. I could have used a jack shaft but I want this to be as basic as possible and I like having it look more like a "classic" mini bike.
