Hello everyone first time on here. I've built a modified spiderbox. I installed a 09 Suzuki gs500f engine on the back of mine. This thing is wicked fast. Just wanted to share it with you all.

I lengthened the frame out 10" and added reinforcement with solid greaseable pivot points. Foot operated clutch with cable operated shift lever. Dual master cylinder with front disc brakes added

I replaced the cast ball joints with the steel ones. Reinforced the A arms and spindles and installed disc brakes with 21x7x10 Kenda Klaw tires up front and 22x12x9 Kenda Bear Klaws on the rear

Thanks for the reply, I estimate 90+ mph but haven't had it past 3rd gear standing on it. Waiting for my new rear shocks. And I want to get my roll cage built before I get to crazy. I've had it to about 60 just guessing.

i mean i can test it out for ya it sounds like a blast lol, if you dont have a way to check the speed there is an app on most phones that works as a spedo and will save your top speed if you wanted to get an acurate reading

Thanks, I was going to ask about an app. I'm almost 63, raced Stock cars for half my life so I know my limitations and believe in saftey first. I just barely got this driveable so I'm still checking things out and modifying as I go. Just building this for my wife and I to go out in the desert and up Arroyo's and such without spending 30,000 on a Polaris. It's kinda like a super car, just because it will go 100 doesn't mean you have to! But I can pass my neighbors Polaris in 3 Rd gear. And I got 3 more! So it has a lot of potential I just don't want to put the cart before the horse so to speak. I appreciate your interest and input. There's a lot of people that think I'm nuts, but I still have a need for speed and this hobby is a lot cheaper than cars and racing. 🏁

I had a friend ask how I did the chain, I just notched out the case and let the shifter rod come out the center of the chain.

Got my new shocks, had to change the springs the ones that came with the shocks were just to weak. I want to be able to haul a little weight also besides just two people.

I wonder how sturdy the case is in that area. Originally the chain was trying to pull the sprocket to the rear - now it will be pulling down on the sprocket. Same thing could apply to engine mounts - a lot of times they are designed to be loaded in a certain manner. Change that and the strength suffers.

It does look like a fun project. I've always thought if something didn't whizz-your-pants scare ya it was underpowered.

So far so good, just did an inspection of all the mounts and everything seems to be doing well. No leakage around output shaft

Sweet build, I have a 99 gsxr 750 in my buggy. Like you said just because it'll do 100 doesnt mean you need to. I geared mine really low with a HUGE 70 tooth rear sprocket, my top speed it 75mph. Being 15 inches off the ground 75 feels like 135
