A lot of dipshyte answers from very clearly non mechanics.

3 yes old, YES THE LASH NEEDS RESET!!
Also every bolt in the damn thing should be torqued... that much should have been done after the first 10hrs and again after another 40, and at least checked after clocking 100hrs.

Loose headstuds bleed compression, and loose valve lash will not only retard the valve timing, but reduce the lift and duration, also very good way to drop a rod and blow the block open.

All bots and oil change have been done according to engine standards maybe a lil more because I beat on her a lot. Last year all gasket were changed as well.

Question when you start it
1 dose it have compression
2 dose it pop (like there is a explosion happening in the engine)
3 is it getting air and fuel
4 is the kill switch on

Buddy, E before S in does. Question marks (?) should be used when asking a question. Make sure to look over your post before sending for any errors.

What does that mean in American English?
Take off the head. Is it full of fuel or water?

I don’t know if it has compression. I have a compression kit some where can’t find it. Going to store Friday for one.

no pop at all. that’s why I thought it wasn’t getting spark.

It’s getting fuel and air

If the top end was full of anything, it would act seized.
Of course if you had ANY useful mechanical knowledge you would know that it doesn't matter if it's fuel, oil, water, or kool-aid... fluids simply don't compress.

Before you come at me twisted like you think you know better, gasoline doesn't actually compress during the compression stroke which is why flooded engines don't run. The fuel enters in an atomized state, a vapor; the compression only makes it even more volatile than fumes

If it rolls with the pull cord, don't bother. Eventually you'll learn enough to be able to easily weed out the idiots and armchair professionals.

It's uncommon but not unheard of to have a dud coil. I'd pull the flywheel and check for a sheared key just because you may have spark, but at the wrong time.

Using non flammable break clean as starter fluid? I still say change the plug there‘s a wall of them at TS..

If I swapped the plug verified there was spark and there is nothing visibly blocking the inlet valve and your engine did not start I would be absolutely looking at the valves. make sure the exhaust isn’t plugged.

I ran a 212cc for a brief few moments with nothing on it. Just wide open ports no valve cover just pouring fuel into the inlet port from a zoom bottle.

These engines are not overly complicated to make start.

Exactly! A lot of the time though a sheared key leads to kickback or what at first glance would seem like a failing compression release.

The shaft does turn when I try to start it.

Ill pull fly wheel tomorrow and check. How would I fix the timing after that?
