Same color and engine as my barstool build from last year's contest. But a old pocket bike frame converted to trike. And yes I said same engine but a little meaner this time. Hehehe...........

**changed up a little bit to a bigger version ! :smiley_omg:

This one has been set aside as my new diygk entry will be really large and in charge ! I found a sweet power plant that's gonna rule the road.

Well I decided to go big or go home...................

So let me introduce you "Insani-T" cause it's a trike and it's pure insanity !!!!

Kz750 twin and its gonna be a adult sized big wheel. The whole engine and front end along with the frame neck and neck support gussets were all used from the original motorcycle !

And pictures always make things better.........

Why yes its a toro to be exact. And its got golf cart wheels and tires for the rears. I'm gonna get low profile dot and aluminum wheels later. Those are for mock up. That should help everyone with size referencing I hope.

My coil is on the way. So I'm gonna get a battery and make sure its gonna run before going further. I started a new job and I don't get paid for 2 months but she shall be finished by the end of the summer. I will try and get a video if it fires. I just want if to run for a few seconds since the engine has never been fired in my possession. I've had it for 10+years. Lol

Whoa, slow down, this years contest hasn't started yet, you don't want to go over the 50% line...

I was beginning to wonder if that was a option. I honestly don't think its at 50% its at about 20%. And look it's not a store bought chassis this time ! Yay for me for paying attention to the comments from the barstool.

Well stuck coil on and still no fire. It's a points setup so it should fire with one side of coil hot and the other to the only ignition wire off the points. Pulled the ignition cover off and the whole bottom of engine has been sitting in water or the cover was leaking cause it's one rusty piece of ignition under that cover ! So let's take 1 step forward and 15 steps back.

There is a car show with a unfinished class this Saturday by the mda kids at my bank. So I think I'm gonna roll it out there and see if I can get some looks loos with the kiddos maybe I can get best unfinished and the kids choice award. After all it is patterned after a kids big wheel. I am gonna try and get a bicycle flag just for added appeal. And make me a in progress info board for the ones that don't realize what it is.

Went to the car show got me some cool door prizes. Then when I got home I decided to throw the new points in it. And after 10+years it lit right off ! Carbs are junk but at least it started for a few seconds with carb cleaner sprayed directly in.

Time to finish it off when I get some more time.

I might add it looked great next to the barstool as well ...................

I'm out of the 2015 diygk contest as I lost almost everything I had for the last 10 or so years. My girlfriend left me so I'm not gonna be in the mood to build anything. I still have the adult big wheel but its not gonna get touched for quite awhile until after I figure some things out.
