hey there new to this site but not to forums, i am an avid moped builder, and i love to do custom ****..this mite work on here !http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...79054071_100000074074846_235253_3047337_n.jpg! this is my latest moped i built, cimatti grand prix XL with a mineralli V1 motor, 80cc kit custom pipe 19mm carb.... and so on dose about 53.... anyways thats my back round, so i got this nice go cart looking to hop it up a little, its the 6.5 clone greayhound motor... i took out the internal governor and what not, but there was some seal issues with the stock carb on it soo i got pissed and smashed it..lol... anyways hooked up a 14/12 dellorto SHA carb with a 100 jet in it... the cart will start and idle perfect runs ok on the bottom but as you get going it dosnt get much faster.... if feels like to me a 2 stroke guy that its 4 stroking lol wich seams funny but really im at a loss... do i need to down jet the carb like i would on my 2 stroke or do i need to make my straight pipe longer to cause more back pressure... or what... there are no air leaks, as i checked w/ carb clearer, like i would on my mopeds.... any one got an answer for me ??
