13HP Honda Engine/ Torque Converter Setup

Hey I was just wondering what the best torque converter setup would be for my 13HP Honda Engine with a 1" crankshaft... With a 12 tooth sprocket on it... Where abouts would i get 1 and who sells them?? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Also what else would be involved, I have an 82 tooth sprocket at the moment, i've heard with the bigger motors u need 2 sprockets and 2 chains...

Yeah just bought a 1" torque converter with a 12 tooth sprocket...
Should go alrite hopefully, what does everyone else think?

if this is a horizontal shaft motor can you take lots of pics of the torque converter being put on and stuff, i want to use one but i cant figer out how, or if ill have room to mount one. (hell if you can can you make some sort of step by step thing for me? ill give you a cookie :))

It was a Comet TAV2 Torque-A-Verter Converter.. Not sure if it will hold up but hopefully it will..
I'm thinkin i might need to make up a bracket to mount it on the 13hp but yeah, that mite stiffen the torque converter up a bit as well.. Has anyone actually used one of those torque converters??

i havent, but i want to. but i have no idea how they mount on (from the torque a verter to the drive wheels) the engine. once you do it can you do a step by step guide wiith lots of pictures please :)

It comes as a unit, it has pre-drilled holes in the backing plate that u bolt straight onto the motor, and the drive sprocket is on the inside of the other pulley.. I can try get pics up soon..

Torque converter works good, no problems, now i have 2 strip down my whole kart and paint it..

cool! i cant wait to see pics. please take as many as possible. i really want to do this but im afraid it wont work on mine! :)

Oh they work great, for about 2 hours, make sure u put the pulleys on straight as well... Probably lookin 2 buy around a 20hp rated belt as well... sweet as...
