I have heard more than once that you shouldn't butt weld frames together. I thinks its perfectly fine to butt weld frames, as long as the steel has been correctly prepared it should be fine. What do you guys think, is it safe?

I have decided to make a trailer to tow behind my Kart. Its going to have a solid axle and use the tires, hubs etc. from a Yamaha big bear. I was thinking of making it 1m x 1.4m (39" x 55"). What do you guys think? I'll post some pics once I get started, it might be a while.

i have a quad engine on my kart and its got a mikuni diaphragm card, it will only run at full choke. I'm running it with a pod filter not the stock air box. Would it help if i were to re-jet or adjust the full needle?

so i flipped my kart and now it doesn't run and my electric starter has stopped working (loose wire somewhere). i can pull start it it will idle really roughly and will die when i hit the gas. Have you guys got any ideas as to why it dies when i hit the gas? i pulled the carp, it was a bit...
