    Protecting metal w/out paint.

Okay, let me preface this. Some parts cannot have paint, due to the affect of paint and primer of "building up" and stopping moving parts from, well, moving. Things like the axle and, my subject today, adjustable seat rails. What do you do to prevent rust from getting on these parts? I put a...

    Easy valve core removal tool

If you lost your valve core removal tool or you don’t have one, here’s a super easy homemade solution. Grab that useless multi size flathead screwdriver bit set and find one that fits your housing. Bigger is better here. Cut a slot using any means necessary. I used a Dremel cutting disk. Throw...

Weird, maybe pointless hoop on Streakers.

Does anyone have an idea on why this is on darn near every Streaker? I’m talking about the hoop at the back. I can’t think of a good reason to why it exists.

    GR question.

Another Streaker question! :surrender: The plan on my kart is to run a Hilliard Extreme Duty clutch. The problem this presents is gear ratio. I got a 54 tooth sprocket, and the Extreme Duty to my knowledge comes in 10T only. I physically cannot run a T/C. If remember correctly it has 11 inch...

To strip or not to strip. Paint question.

When you restore a kart, do you bring it down to bare metal, or just sand? Any additional costs to doing it one way or the other? Just seeing what others do before I prep and paint mine. No paint or primer has been bought yet, but I’ll be using Rusto-Oleum.

    Buying a Predator, advice?

I’m picking up a 212 tomorrow (on sale for $100:wai:) anything to look for specifically? I’m going to try and get a non-hemi 60730 model, is there anything else I should look for? Thanks as always.

    Worst kart related injury?

What’s the worst kart (or motorized vehicle) related injury you have experienced/seen? It could be riding or in the shop working on it. To be clear, this is for posterity, I’m not trying to discourage anyone.

What happened to American made karts?

Okay, here’s some preface; every brand new kart nowadays is made in China, whether it is knockoff or Coleman. Back in the 90’s, you could get brand new, American made go karts from a plethora of manufacturers; KenBar, Carter brothers, Kartco, Manco, etc. My question is what happened in summer...
