    Chain problems

I know for sure everything is the right size, there is no chain tensioner due to it being a vintage race kart, and it has been run but not for too long, maybe 20 minutes total up on a jackstand to tune the carb. it is a cheap amazon chain so that might have something to do with it. i'll look...

    Disc or drum?

Hey guys, As some of you may know at this point, i am rebuilding a '60 Go Kart 800 with a Mac MC-49 2 stroke on it. the brakes on it are currently the original drums, which work great and deliver great performance, but upon looking on Azusa's site, they not only sell an identical drum assembly...

    Is this a good deal?

    Is this a good deal?

I found a vintage west bend on eBay for $450, and I’m wondering if it’s a good deal. It turns over, doesn’t appear to run, but overall seems like a solid motor. I would love some more info https://www.ebay.com/itm/325339897643

    Manco Kart ID help

A bit of an update… I’m in the middle of (another) minor engine rebuild on my Mac MC49, so this idea has been postponed. In the process as well, I was able to find another vintage go kart for sale for a price I can barely pass up, although it doesn’t have a motor. It has some weird stuff welded...

    Post your finished projects!!!

After years of on and off work, im proud to announce that my early 1960's Go Kart 800 project is finally coming to a close. Help with frozen clutch

I haven’t tried heat yet, how do you think I should go about doing that? My last resort is cutting it, and I plan on getting a wheel puller in the next few days.

    Help with frozen clutch

I have actually tried the 2x4 method and it did not work. It doesn’t help that the set screws are not only seized, but they are stripped too.
