    Shocks for 350ish pound buggy?

Finally got my motor welded but ive run into another problem. The shocks that came with my SunL 150 bottom out which is no fun. So, i need something beefier? Problem is all the shocks ive found on gopower etc look like the same basic shocks that came with it. I don't see where to sort/show...

Doing it properly is the concern. Im new to welding and had better confidence with it sitting on top. Ive cut a few pieces and looked at my weld up close. What i did in the past wasnt the greatest. But now theyre looking good after slicing. Still makes me worry.

Everything lines up much better with it low. WIll still put a chain tensioner on. My reservation is instead of the motor sitting on the frame,im welding so it can sit low. I trust my welds, but id feel more comfortable if it sat on top.

I became so frustrated with this damn thing that i stopped working on it months ago. Past 2 weeks im making progress again. What pushed my patience was mounting the engine and chain clearance. what I thought was going to work wasnt no matter how stubborn i was to make it work. Have to mount the...

How are these hubs/carriers attached to axle?

Took those apart and need to repack them with grease and replace a bushing that was missing. This thing is gonna cost a fortune in the end. I'll be replacing every bolt.

Now that I have some what of a little spare time. Sketchy as hell ! Drilled holes in the original sprocket, mounted the motorcycle sprocket. Not comfy with how close the holes are to the edge of the kart sprocket. But for now ill move on and get started on mounting the motor and finding some...

How are these hubs/carriers attached to axle?

I used some paint stripper hoping to see a key or something. Think these are $hitty welds like @I74 says.

I bubba'd it. Shopvac to catch the shavings, WD40 as lubricant, hand drill with cobalt bit, and flipflops. Got it done tho:banana:

    Sprocket...options?

If a problem arises i'll be going the welding route. The sprocket is aluminum, my 125 Titanium cant do it. Hopefully this holds long enough to figure out what gearing I'll be ok with. Def want to take some "oomph" out of it lmao.

Sorry for the delay. Hectic times. Now that im not eyeballing it with a ruler, heres what i have. Keep in mind ive never used one of these and theres a thickish layer of paint and or rust to skew results. Heres the stock kart sprocket and the stock motorcycle sprocket My "plan" for now to...

    Sprocket...options?

I have an Ex500 engine that I'm putting on a buggy. The engine has 520 chain setup, the cart does not. My axle has a hub with a 2in bore. I cannot find a 520 rear with a 2 inch bore to save my life It's a Sunl 150 kart Motor is ex500 What are my options?
