Engine idles fine. But dies when rev up. At high revs sounds like is firing only every X combustion stroke. I thought it might be fuel delivery issue. I checked from tank to carb. No problem. I bough new carburetor. Nothing changed. I also checked timing. I checked valve lash. See for yourself...

Original JB weld is available over here. But costs more than running second hands engines on Facebook marketplace. So I sanded it, cleaned it with 100% acetone and put over it some local $4 epoxy. We will see.

Engine runs great, but has a crack that leaks like crazy. If not fixed, I will just scrap it. So any solution would do at this point -it can't be broken any further. I have only regular MIG/STICK welder for steel. Could it be repaired? Or could I somehow hack my MIG a turn it into aluminium...

Seeing a lot of cheap (under $40) airless spray guns. Is it any good for painting things like motorcycle frames, DIY welded metal stuff (shelves, tables)? What type of paint does it use, can you mix color to your liking? Is it better than rattle can paint job?

First check for spark. Take out spark plug, place it on metal body and try to start. If you have spark your electric is OK.

Just saw this bike for sale and just wondering what is going on over there? Hose coming from and oil fill hole, going into a beer can and splitting into two.

One pin was still in clutch. One pin was found under the magneto. And third pin is missing. (y) I just fixed it with new expensive original parts. I hope third pin found some comfy place somewhere and has on intensions getting between some moving parts, blocking some oil passage or something...

I'm currently repairing side stand on another bike. And I'm using that engine as a support under the bike while the side stand is removed. I think I will get ton of usage out of that engine. ;) But I don't think it will involve any higher speeds than me carrying it around workshop.

ha ha ha One hand on kickstart. One hand holding engine. Eyes on spark plug. Whenever I could notice the fail, rotor was under my armpit/behind me. I had no idea. :D And kick start was stiff and noisy as usual. It just didn't engage properly.

Starter on motorcycle. Three or four times it was hard to start motorcycle (but started) and then it didn't start anymore. (Kick start starts it. And motorcycle rides as usual. ) I checked relay and it is working correctly. Starter is getting full 12,6V when activated. And has good ground...

LOL :ROFLMAO: As I was turning kick start my wife was passing by. And she asked, if that shiny thing (magneto rotor) shouldn't turn when I'm turning kick start. As it usually do. 🙃 I was so preoccupied by solving wiring, that I didn't notice that kick start isn't engaging rest of the engine...

Bought this 110cc bike 3 years ago. Has 45 000 Km. And except changing an oil there was nothing done to it. It rides as new! But I noticed this oily leak around the spark plug. On touch it is wet, like an oil mixed with dust substance. Spark plug is tight, can't make it any tighter. Should I...
