Can someone recommend a centrifugal clutch for the Predator 301cc 8hp? I have burned through 2 clutches already. I cannot install a torque converter because of the go kart frame and engine placement. I have a 1" diameter shaft

So I bought a predator 301cc to put into a go kart. I do not have torque converter. I wanted to just use a clutch. I bought a clutch on ebay that is rated for the predator301cc. The problem is, nothing is engaging. The driveshaft is just spinning as I press the accelerator. Did I do something...
