Put these pieces in the ultrasonic cleaner and was able to get an item number off the side of one. Google search and 4 new bearings on the way.

Engine came. Painted the chair. Detailed the cushion. Got the throttle linked up with an extra spring to ensure throttle closes. Chair rails are back on. Just waiting on clutch now.

I have a feeling the front ones (first picture) have gone bad. One had the grease pouring out as though a seal had burst. Need to figure out where to get them. I didn’t see any markings on this one to identify them.

Are these bearings that have to be fully replaced? And if so where do you find them? Or is there a way to open them up and pack them with grease? The second picture is actually a live axle. I suppose the bearings are more inward.

Had a sanding session tonight. Freed up the kill switch wire and took off the seat rails for a strip, soak and scrub. Manage to at least smooth out almost every rust patch. one more sanding sessions, a dawn soap bath to strip any oils and the primer and paint go on. Sandblasted and primed...

The Streaker s-465 had a recall on it due to the active rear axle catching people's hair etc and killing them. I doubt they still will perform the recall work anywhere. Is there any recommended sites to get axle covers for the old live axle carts?
