Can anyone tell me what the weight limit would be for the Spidercarts Granddaddy go kart? I am not concerned about the engine, just the frame and suspension.

I am finishing up my granddaddy project. I have the MCP disc brakes installed and bled ( I think). There seems to be good pedal, but I can’t lock up the rear wheels. I am using a fair amount of pressure on the pedal (more than the grandkids will be able to apply) but the wheels will not lock up...

What would be the advantage of using a Predator 420 engine rather than a Predator 212? The gocart I am building is a 2 seater to be used by the grandkids in the field.

I am close to finishing up my Spidercarts GrandDaddy gokart. I am not sure how to connect the steering wheel to the rack and pinion. The only thing I have so far is the rack and pinion with a 5/8" x 36 shaft. Can anyone tell me what I need to complete make the connection. Thanks.

I am building a Spidercarts Granddaddy gokart. This is my first project and is going well so far. The plans say to use an 8" rack and pinion from Desertkarts.com. This site doesn't seem to exist. Can anyone tell me where I can get the 8" rack and pinion? Thanks.

I am planning to build a go kart for the grand kids using 1" and 1 1/4 " 14 gauge square steel tube. What grade steel should I use and should it be hot or cold rolled? Thanks.
