Meh you dont need bushings there. Just run a 5/8 bolt, drill and tap the tube for a grease zerk and call it a day. I havent run any on mine and its still solid. I meant to do the grease zerks but I am lazy.

    Spider carts Grand Daddy build

Yes, I am not sure what route Im going to go. I may grab a box out of an ATV or something that can handle the power You will have a harder time turning at low speeds the larger the wheel The spindles are from BMI karts. Get the 3/4" version and buy the sealed bearings! Not for me I'm 5'3" LOL I...

    Trip to OHV Park

Recently took my custom kart to Land between the lakes Turkey Bay OHV park. I was fairly intimidated seeing as most of the pics I’ve seen were side by sides and jeeps, but when I arrived there was only 3 trailers in the lot and the place is huge. I was more or less alone on the trails. The kart...

    Toasted rod. Crank salvageable?

Rebuilt everything, cleaned the motor real good and built a new exhaust pipe. WOW. The exhaust change made a massive difference. It runs so good now. Basically went from the 1” (21mm ID) that came with the stage 1 kit from go power sports to a 1-1/4” (29mm ID) and RLV muffler.

When to go bigger on the T/C?

I was using the O2 to tune the carb. The exhaust brace helped but the muffler has still broke off a couple times LOL. I will be redoing it completely this weekend with some stainless pipe and a much shorter length.

When to go bigger on the T/C?

I will get some before I take it next week to go on vacation. I have been heavily considering a reverse system! I dont know what would handle the power though? The only thing I can think of is taking something off of a snowmobile or ATV, like a chain case.

When to go bigger on the T/C?

Old picture but you get the idea. Its fairly heavy, so it needs the torque.

When to go bigger on the T/C?

Hey guys Currently have a china 40 series on my Predator 420 setup. Since building it I've done some light upgrading. Mikuni Carb Air Filter Exhaust Governor removal I plan on doing more down the road next year. Wondering when I should jump to a 94C converter? The 40 series are claimed @...

    Torque Converter?

Take apart the driver and lube it up. I have to do this about every 3 or 4 rides with mine otherwise it will dry up and not engage properly or start locking up.

    Toasted rod. Crank salvageable?

Went ahead and ordered another rod. I think with some cleanup it’ll last until I can get serious about rebuild.

    Toasted rod. Crank salvageable?

Engine started knocking one day. I think it was from not properly breaking in engine from the get go. The oil changes always seemed to have a metallic sparkle. Anyways, the rod is toast. But what do you think about the crank? I’d really like to take the cart on vacation to an off-road park in...

    SpiderKart modified Grand Daddy build

This Change the point where your tie rods attach on your spindles if you can to change that distance. You can also easily test it out without driving by just jumping up and down on the front suspension with it on the ground. Steering wheel should not move much. Believe me I've easily spent...

    Mikuni VM34 tuning

Predator 420cc + Mikuni VM34 tuning So I’ve gone down 2 sizes in pilot jet and got idle close with 4 turns out on the air screw. Looks like another size down will get that wrapped up. Sitting at mid 11s WOT. I’d like to see 12.5 so maybe one side further down on the main jet. Now the needle...
