Long time member, new buggy builder

What's up people! I've recently acquired an old yerf dog spiderbox for my 8yr old to learn to drive on. Sat in a field for a long time I'm assuming. Lots of upgrades and fixes made already, and more on order. Might have some questions down the road, but just wanted to say what's up! Love the...

    Yerf Dog?

The tire size should be written on the side of the tire itself. Cool kart though. Gonna make it a mini buggy?

    Yerf Dog?

That's a yerf dog 32001. I have the same model and I've been beefing mine up for a while. What size are your front tires btw? I have 22x11x8 on the rear and I love it, but the front is leaving me needing something bigger now. Can't seem to find the right combination for the front tire/rim. Any...

    212 issues, possibly governor?

Ok, sorry for the delayed response to all this, but I figured out the problem. It was indeed the governor that was causing the odd fluttering and shooting off the carb. I spent numerous hours this weekend disassembling my engine ( to make sure nothing was broken and peace of mind) and removing...

    212 issues, possibly governor?

Was taking the Yerfdog off-road this weekend after a couple months of inactivity. It ran hard the last time I drove it and this time was lackluster to say the least. It was acting like the governor was engaging way early. My heavier friend was on it when I really noticed a difference between...

Anyone know how to get these type of wheels off?

Use a cheap propane torch and a breaker bar with a cheater bar in the end. Hit the nut with the flame for a minute or two then give it a splash of cold water to cool it quickly, then apply breaker bar and cheater bar over that. I broke 4 nuts loose on a 48 year old Volkswagen bus this weekend...

    Yerf dog brake upgrade?

Thanks for the response! Btw do you happen to have any pictures of your brake set-up so i have some sort of reference? My Axel is fine so are all the other parts on it. I removed it a few weeks ago and got all the rust off with a wire wheel, then added antiseize to everything. My right rear...

    Yerf dog brake upgrade?

Hello everyone! This is my first post on here, so I'll try to keep this short. I have a one seater 32001 (3200), and its a great kart. I've been upgradinga lot over the past few months and I'm wanting to upgrade the brakes. The band brake setup just isn't holding up to my uses for this kart(...
