Guess what I picked up yesterday for FREE!!!

I was always skeptical about Slime, but it proved me wrong. It made my riding mower OEM tires last 10 years. Living on land with a lot of Mesquite trees, which produce big thorns, it was inevitable to get flats often, especially with the amount I use it. Here is what many years of Slime...

    Briggs 1980 Hybrid Car Video

Popped in my random Youtube feed. Very interesting information on car itself but also the current state and future of Briggs' engines. Long watch but surely many of us are or will being have extra time on hands, so thought I'd share. Don't really care for Jay Leno though, he has to be...

    Bird Engineering Starbirds

JT, the more you look, the more you will find. I don't think they are as rare or valuable as you make them out to be. I've seen quite a few for sale locally. Here are a couple I screenshot. Don't blow a gasket :censored: when see they don't have Flatheads on em :roflol:

    Cool Critters

Here is a couple of snakes I've come across in the yard... Coachwhip, must've been at least 6 feet long :smiley_omg: That one was the biggest I've seen. These suckers are fast too, good thing they are usually high tailing away from you instead of at you! Cobra in Texas??? Of course not...

    Karl's kart V2

Well since he is in Ohio, it would match the Bengals color scheme, which I always thought was one of the cooler looking team colors in the NFL.

    Quick bits

Something like this just happened to me a couple weeks ago. I was working outside, when out of the corner of my eye, I see shadow moving. I turn around and am faced with a big ol' bull staring me down. We don't have cattle, but a few properties near us do and we don't keep out gate closed. I...

    Cushman Eagle

Couple of weeks ago I traveled to Lubbock, TX to visit a family member in the hospital. It was my first time up there, so we took a day to do some sightseeing. One of attractions is the American Windmill Museum. It was very interesting to say the least. There was hundreds of different kinds...

Advice on Vintage Looking Tires Needed.

Can you describe "vintage look"? The ones on my Bird Nighthawk were Fox Corporation and they looked pretty dang old/vintage, not sure if you would be able to find those. They were dry rotted, I replaced them with Michelin Starcross. My Bird Thunderbird came with Cheng Shin brand tires.

Help with Yerf dog start button

This is the brake/safety switch, maybe yours has already been removed. On the one I fixed, I just unplugged it and plugged the incoming leads into each other (bypassing it). You should next check your kill switch and your push button starter switch on the steering column. They are not that...

    150cc scooter into mini bike

Technically it's still a scooter, but I understand changing the name to Mini Bike, cause you know what they say about Scooters or Mopeds...They're like fat chicks, fun to ride until your friends find out :lolgoku: I did something similar to yours. I bought a 1986 Honda Elite 80 basket case for...

    Well...then.... I guess.....?????

Seems like the drift trike craze is going a little too far and people are making trikes out of anything with wheels. These are a couple that were posted locally...the one with the old lady on it, the ad was asking for $700 FIRM :lolgoku: looks like its made out of electrical conduit.

    Welder question

I use this Millermatic 210 at work, and it works great. Very easy to use, almost fool proof. A few times a year we conduct training classes for customers who will be installing our products. This involves welding, which some of these people have never done. These are the welders they learn...

Not a bad deal (I think)

No, they shouldn't be fully compressed. The upper and lower fork tubes are metal on metal, so it is likely they are rusted/frozen together. The springs are held in by the "cups" on each end. They can be a pain, because as you turn one end to release it, the other end engages further in, so...

    Paint

I've used this product a few times and it has worked great. Usually around $20. If you do use it, be sure to read and follow the directions carefully. Also, I would suggest you buy it at a retail store and not online. The chemicals in it do not do well in shipping and tend to leak and dry...
