    hub bolt patterns

The other wheel is missing. Some where along the line a family member has misplaced it. And yes I have a drill press. Never made a new hub pattern though. And it's a clutch.

    hub bolt patterns

I was wrong. More like 4 x 3 inch. Can't seem to find wheels for it. Which is why I was going to just change to a different size hub pattern

    hub bolt patterns

I can't get pics till later this afternoon. But I actually need a wheel. I think it's metric but measuring the hub pattern diagonally from center to center is 3 1/4 inches. I can't find a wheel for that measurement

    hub bolt patterns

So, I have this go kart that I need to order a wheel for and I can not seem to find the right size bolt pattern. It's a 4 bolt pattern and measuring diaganally from center of bolt to center it's 3 and 1/4 inches. which is like 82 mm. I would just change the hub completely because I have some 8"...

    possible gy6 go kart build.

I have just a frame. I was just wondering where you all buy these lifans or gx clones from. Oh and do you have a link to those frames BTW? I didn't find any. Maybe I suck at searching.

    possible gy6 go kart build.

Well were is a good place to get these things? Craislist is pretty much useless in my area for things like this. To be honest I'm not entirely against buying an already made go kart if the price was right. I just like to build.

I seen that. Although I just began looking, I haven't found a good place to order them "whole".

    possible gy6 go kart build.

Man, you guys are on the ball. I've been to car forums less active than this. I was looking at this site. http://www.motopartsmax.com/index.php/main_page/index/cPath/21_88 And it looks like if it doesn't come with the harness they have it separate.

    possible gy6 go kart build.

Thanks for the link. Good info. My question otherwise was specifically related to the recharge lines. I was wondering if I could cut the plug off and run the lines to the battery without getting the "proper" female plug? I've done it with Lawn mowers so I figured there would be little...

    possible gy6 go kart build.

Well I'm on build 2 now. I may not have made it clear but I have about 3 go kart projects. First build is the vertical shaft mower engine build. Thanks to this site, that project is well on its way.I'm just sick of the lame oil' Riggs and Stratton 5 horse engines. Anyway, I have 1 frame left...

    n00b question about a RAGB

Will it be clutch and shift or will it stop like a mower before you shift? I thin,k this stuff is cool. Like I said I'm new to this. In a car, for instance, typical gearing would be between 3.27 to 3.73. I figured there would be a common ratio.

    n00b question about a RAGB

Which is why I figured a ragb would be the best route. I'll figure it out I guess. Or just go with plan B which is yet to be determined. So how does an 11:1 ratio stack up again st typical gearing in these things? Normal ?

    n00b question about a RAGB

I do have the lawn mower read end. What ratio are they usually? Is the low gearing only due to the engine shaft pully to rear axle pully ratio?

    Hello.

^yep. I'm into anything with an engine and wheels. I've been a gear head my whole life. I've never worked with really small stuff like go karts though. I understand the concept but never looked into stuff. For instance, hub assemblies or torque converters. But, I firmly believe experience is the...
