    Manco Dingo

I've finally completed my Dingo project after five years of blood sweat and tears. Most, if not all of you know the journey I took to finish this kart. It is not really a huge accomplishment, as I have spent a massive amount of time due to my non existent income. I am still proud of myself...

    Manco Dingo throttle issue

Wow! I jacked it up more than I originally thought then. I understood completely even while working that the throttle setup was wack, but thanks for the tip on the governor rod.

Best way to mount a Torque converter to this setup?

Wowza! That sprocket is gonna make it close, you’re going to have to run the torque converter straight back n down like a typical 30 series setup. That’s your best bet at least, if that doesn’t work then fabrications are going to have to be done. @KartFab this was built from your plans right...

    Manco Dingo throttle issue

Oops! Forgot to mention I’m running a Honda GX390 on this kart. That’s what I’m having trouble with. I posted this in the wrong place. Anyways, here is what my throttle setup looks like currently (it’s very rigged):

    Mango Dingo Build (continuation) 2021

I geared the kart down to 8T jackshaft 54T axle, just had to cut the engine mounting plate off and move it forward a bit. Having my gear ratio like that makes the kart do wheelies easily. I like how this ratio feels compared to my 9T 48T gearing. The jackshaft flange is fine how it is IMO.

    Manco Dingo throttle issue

Hey everyone! I’m back again and doing some tweaks to my dingo. I got it running and driving recently and did some wheelies on it today. I just pulled the governor out and started the engine back up and it ran at full rpm without stopping instead of idling. I figured I should completely redo...

    Mango Dingo Build (continuation) 2021

The kart needs a new sprocket hub and sprocket. What do I need to know in order to make sure that the sprocket hub I order fits the sprocket?

    Mango Dingo Build (continuation) 2021

It is a Baja 200, but the Dingo is very similar and I have always referred to it as so. Yes, I do have the axle, I have attached a picture below. As you can see, the previous owner has welded the drum to the axle and made it very difficult to measure. I’m not sure if 38 1/2” sounds quite right.

    Mango Dingo Build (continuation) 2021

Anyone know the axle size for a Manco Baja 200 kart? Trying to get my parts list together once again and maybe finish my project this year.

    Big guy wants to race!

i suggest you go look at the kart for sale if you're using it for racing purposes, may as well try to fit in it. that's just my two cents.

    Manco Dingo Pedal Riser Assembly?

there isn't an off the shelf product as far as i've researched, but i do know that 2x4 wooden boards cut to the desired length has worked for people in the past. if you would rather something more permanent, then you would be getting into the custom stuff.
