    I was thinking of that but i already have a problem with space as my arm will be very close to the engine because of the gear shifter. That was not the final mounting of the motor... Still need to build the engine mounts. So the motor will move in a little bit for the weight balance.....

    Hi all. Thanks for all the info. Some update on the build........ Got a battery for the starter and pump... Cooling system.... Fuel pump:) Motor before i took it out of the quad. Motor after i took it out the quad Ignition switch build... Still need to build new mountings...

    I wonder if i could get that fuel pump in south africa? I was thinking of the floor mounted pump.It looks more neat... I will use the tank off the quad that i am stripping.... Did not get the tank with.Thanks for the info man.

    Hi Everyone. Recently bought a go kart frame(Pics to be added soon). I have a 200cc quad bike that is being stripped for the motor to build a 5 speed manual 200cc road go kart.. I hope this forum will help me with ideas as i have never had a go kart and i am clueless when it comes to go karts...
